Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta — Colombia

Train. Explore. Recover.

Train.Explore.Recover.

A small retreat between the jungle and the sea.

The Place

The highest coastalmountain rangeon Earth.

It rises from the Caribbean to the snowline. Caracolí sits at its foot — river, lagoons, jungle and sea within walking distance.

River · Lagoons · Jungle · Caribbean · Snowline

Ancestral territory of the Kogi, Arhuaco, Wiwa and Kankuamo — the Elder Brothers, guardians of the Heart of the World.

See the Sierra in frames.

Snowmelt running clear over pale stones, moving faster than it looks
Ridgeline after ridgeline lifting toward the snowline, cloud caught in the lower folds
Jungle falling away from the ridge until it meets the flat silver of the Caribbean

What we believe

We believe rest is a form of respect. That cold water tells the truth. That a river can teach patience. That Colombia is not a place you visit —it is a place that changes you.

06 — Explore

Mornings for goingfar.

The Sierra does not askto be conquered.Only crossed.
A kayak drawn onto the shallows at first light, the river still holding the night's cold

01

The Water

The river runs cold from the snowline; the lagoons sit warm and glass-still. We swim at first light and paddle in the afternoons. Where the jungle meets the Caribbean, we walk the surf at dusk.

One walker on a narrow trail, the canopy closing overhead and light falling in columns

02

The Land

Miles of private trails cut through the canopy, leading to waterfalls known only to the mountain. For those who wish to go further, the ancient stone steps of Ciudad Perdida wait in the clouds.

Caribbean surf folding over boulders at the edge of the jungle, early and empty

03

The Coast

Tayrona National Park is where the boulders lean into the sea. We go early, before the heat, walking the mangroves and resting on beaches that refuse to be hurried.

04

The Culture

We are guests in the Heart of the World. We do not stage ceremonies. We sit with the communities of the Sierra, share regional cooking, and learn the slow alchemy of coffee and cacao.

The mountain decides the pace.

Every morning, the guides will ask you what you wish to see. Nothing here is mandatory. Sometimes the furthest you need to go is the edge of your own terrace.
